First Baptist Academy has a premier Dallas football program with experienced and proven coaches, as well as a record that speaks for itself. The FBA football team has won numerous championships in recent years and has seen over a third of their players go on to college programs in the last decade.

Trae Hart:

In 2012, all-state WR Trae Hart led the nation in receiving with over 2,000 YDs
In 2013, his senior year, he led the Saints to the state championship
Trae went on to receive a full scholarship at Purdue

Kelan Smith, all-state receiver:
Won the National Championship at Texas A&M Commerce in 2017

Miles Thompson, all-state quarterback:
Was named the SAA Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the 2017 Season

Gage McClanahan, all-state quarterback:
Broke the Howard Payne University completion record against Southwestern University in 2018

Lane Taylor, all-state defensive back & receiver:
Was featured on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 when he blocked a field goal that was returned for a TD to win the game for Lamar University in 2018

Josh Johnson, all-state defensive back:
Was named GPAC All-Conference in 2014 at Hastings College
