You are not here by accident.
God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. There is just one thing that separates you from a holy God. That one thing is sin. The Bible says that every person who has ever lived is a sinner, and as a sinner, is separated from God.
Our sins demand punishment - the punishment of death and separation from God. But, because of His great love, God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Jesus paid the price for your sin by giving His life on a cross. God brought Jesus back from the dead, conquering death and proving that Christ was truly God in the flesh. Through the work of Jesus in His death and resurrection, God has provided a way for you to have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus. God says that if you believe in His son, Jesus, you can live forever with Him in glory.
Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering you right now?
I acknowledge I am a sinner in need of a Savior - this is to repent or turn away from sin. (Romans 3:23)
I believe in my heart that Jesus paid the price for my sins when He died on the cross, and that God raised Jesus from the dead - this is to trust that Jesus paid the full penalty for my sins. (Romans 6:23)
I confess Jesus as my Lord and my God - this is to surrender control of my life to Jesus. (Romans 10:9)
I receive Jesus as my Savior forever - this is to accept what God has done for me and in me what He promised. (John 1:12)
If it is your sincere desire to receive Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior, then talk to God from your heart:
Dear God, thank you for loving me. I know that I have failed You in many ways and I’m truly sorry for the sins in my life. But I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for my sins. Right now, I’m trusting in what Jesus did for me to save me from my sins. Thank you for forgiving me. Help me to spend the rest of my life following You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
