Teacher Highlight – Kyndra Britt
Mrs. Britt was born on October 27th and has been a teacher at FBA for more than two years. She and her husband, Jacob, have been married for three years and are both major dog lovers. They have a Yorkie named Bella and a Lab named Ehlie. Mrs. Britt went to Texas A&M University-Commerce and has a Bachelors’ Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She pursued elementary education to instill a love for learning, minister to children, and make a difference in their lives. Mrs. Britt was determined to be a helpful teacher. Working with kids can sometimes be challenging, but Mrs. Britt values each day in the classroom.
She loves listening to music. Her favorite genres are Christian and Country. Mrs. Britt also enjoys singing but says she is not very good! Mrs. Britt is a very creative person who loves to make crafts such as candles. She has a small candle business outside of school called Britt Candle Co. Reeses are her favorite candy, and I’m sure she wouldn’t mind being gifted some! Mrs. Britt enjoys watching movies, and currently, Forrest Gump is her favorite. She has traveled to the Dominican Republic and says that it was the most beautiful place she has ever visited. Many people wouldn’t consider Dance a sport, but Mrs. Britt danced for 15 years, and it is still her favorite sport.
The Lord truly led Mrs. Britt to FBA, and we are thankful to have the privilege of working and learning with her!
