Admission Process

We’re glad you’re considering First Baptist Academy as your Christian partner in education. FBA offers an exceptional Christ-centered educational environment for students PreK – 12th grade.

Let us help you get started

1. Get to know FBA

Come explore FBA, meet our staff, and get your questions answered. Join us for an upcoming Open House or schedule a tour. We’re ready to roll out the red carpet to show you why we are the best private school in Dallas.

2. Submit an application

Please submit your online application along with your application fee. If you have any questions during the application process, please contact Director of Admissions Elizabeth Gore via email at admissions@fbacademy.com or phone (972) 453-1321.

After your application has been submitted and received, FBA will contact you to discuss testing.

3. Testing

We accept the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) Comprehensive Testing Program, Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), or Stanford Achievement Test. For students who do not have one of these, FBA will administer an entrance test.

4. Interviews

FBA offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum taught from a Christian world-view by faculty who seek to instill Saints Values as constants in our students’ lives. FBA will contact you to set up a family interview to meet with the principal as the next step in the admissions process.

FBA Considers Students for Admission:

  • Whose academic records demonstrate proven capability to succeed at FBA
  • Whose recommendations show a strong behavioral history and proven character as well as student/parent interviews that are in harmony with the mission of FBA

5. Complete your enrollment

Upon acceptance, we will send you instructions via email on how to complete your enrollment.

While your search for a private school in Dallas could end at First Baptist Academy, your child’s college preparatory education and next level of spiritual development has just begun.
